No account

The app does not ask you to register or sign in.

Device record

When the app contacts qrtv.tr it sends a random device id created on the device, the iOS version, country and language codes, the language you chose in the app, the app version, the bundle id, a Firebase Cloud Messaging token, and an Apple push token when the system provides one. We store that record so the phone can stay paired with a TV.

Links you send

The address you send is stored for the paired TV so the TV can open it and so it can appear in history later. The phone also keeps the last eight addresses on the device. A link you share into the app is stored the same way.

The camera is used only to read the QR code on the TV. Camera images are not uploaded.

Ads

If ads are turned on, Google AdMob may show a banner and a full-screen ad. Ad requests follow your consent and your device’s tracking settings. Google may process an advertising identifier under Google’s privacy policy.

Analytics

Firebase Analytics records that the app was opened, and whether pairing or sending a link succeeded. Those events do not include the address you sent.

Server logs

qrtv.tr may keep the IP address and user agent of a request, for security.

Your choices

You can remove pairing in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes the data stored on the device. To ask about data on our server, use the contact form.

We do not sell your information.
