How it works

How QRTV sends a link to a TV

The television (or any screen) creates a short-lived QR that points to a pairing page on qrtv.tr. Your phone confirms the pair over HTTPS. After that, the phone sends a URL; the TV checks the server every couple of seconds and then navigates to that address.

Persistent pairing

You scan once. A device id is stored in the browser (localStorage, or a cookie if needed). Choose Remove pairing on the phone or the TV when you want a new QR.

History

Every open request is saved for that TV. On qrtv.tr you can tap an old address to open it again. The phone can resend it if still paired.

Apps and the website

If the native app is installed, scanning the QR opens it (App Links / Universal Links). If not, the mobile website is the web app. Same API, same pairing.
