Privacy policy for the Android app

This policy covers the QRTV Android app, package tr.qrtv.app. Qrtv Linker is provided by Adc Interactive. By using the App on Android or iOS, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

No account

The app does not ask you to register or sign in.

Device record

When the app contacts qrtv.tr it sends a random device id created on the phone, the Android version, country and language codes, the language you chose in the app, the app version, the package name, and a Firebase Cloud Messaging token. We store that record so the phone can stay paired with a TV.

Links you send

The address you send is stored for the paired TV so the TV can open it and so it can appear in history later. The phone also keeps the last eight addresses on the device.

The camera is used only to read the QR code on the TV. Camera images are not uploaded.

To show a site icon, the phone may read that site’s public page and then send us only the host name and the icon address. We do not store the page itself.

Ads

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Advertising partners may use device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) to show relevant ads. You can limit ad personalization through your device settings.

Analytics

Firebase Analytics records that the app was opened, and whether pairing or sending a link succeeded. Those events do not include the address you sent. The App uses Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App. Firebase may collect anonymized usage data such as screen views, session duration, device information, and crash reports. This data helps us improve app stability, performance, and user experience. Firebase Analytics does not collect personally identifiable health data.

Server logs

qrtv.tr may keep the IP address and user agent of a request, for security.

Your choices

You can remove pairing in the app at any time. Uninstalling the app deletes the data stored on the phone. To ask about data on our server, use the contact form.

We do not sell your information.
